Sandbags & Flood Barriers

Prepare for hurricane season by getting flood barriers or sandbags pre-season if you are in a low-lying area. Pinellas County cannot guarantee the availability of sandbags immediately before a storm. Sandbag distribution sites typically end up with long lines before a storm, keeping residents tied up in traffic lines and away from other important preparedness work. You can get sandbags in a lower-stress setting BEFORE hurricane season. Learn more

Look Up Your Evacuation Zone

Evacuation zones are based on storm surge. Know your risk from storm surge and check your evacuation zone.
